Comparison between Samsung Galaxy Attain 4g, Sony Xperia S and LG Connect 4G
There has been a tough competition in market for cellphones always. It becomes very tough for the customer to decide which one is the best. Again here is a comparison between the best available phones in the market Samsung Galaxy Attain 4g, Sony’s Xperia S and LG Connect 4G. Let see who wins the race.
Display: Samsung Galaxy’s physical size is 3.50 inches with 320 x 480 pixels resolution having 165 ppi pixel density. Coming onto Sony Xperia S, 4.30 inches physical size with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The pixel density here is 342 ppi. LG Connect’s physical size is 4.00 inches with 480 x 840 pixels resolution having 242 ppi pixel density.
As per the wave of smartphones going, all the three devices have Capacitive, Multi-touch screens.
Operating system: As obvious both the devices are loaded with Android Sony Xperia S has a higher version that is Android 2.3.5 while the other two have Android 2.3.
Features: Samsung Galaxy has only Proximity sensor while Sony Xperia S has both, Light sensor, Proximity sensor & Scratch-resistant glass. LG Connect has only two, Light sensor & Proximity sensor.
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy has a single core 1000 MHz processor. Both Sony Xperia S & LG Connect are dual core with 1500 MHz and 1200 MHz respectively.
System memory of 1024 MB RAM is present in Sony Xperia S & LG Connect but Samsung Galaxy has 512 MB RAM.
Camera: Specs varies in both; its 12.1 megapixels (immobile) in Sony Xperia S, 5 megapixels in LG Connect while Samsung Galaxy has 3 megapixels.
Conclusion:
It is difficult to forecast as to which one will win the segment but I feel Samsung Galaxy has a stronger reigns because of its competitive edge, which it gave in its earlier releases.
I would also like to mention that Samsung has pruned some of its features like processor and the camera to get in sync with MetroPCS’s requirement only to attain 4G. This of course is not the case with remaining two devices.
LG Connect 4G has not compromised with the features and hence it might be higher in price with respect to Samsung’s. But if we talk about hardware, Sony Xperia S would definitely excel the others.
My vote goes to Sony Xperia S, though it’ll be slightly higher in price range but the features it providing is worth the cost. Its premium without being ostentatious, marking the beginning of a new era for Sony.
