Google Pagerank is algorithm and traditional approach of Google which ranks a website on the basis of quality of the backlinks pointing to your website. Google figures that when one page links to another page.
Pagerank is Google’s way of deciding a pages importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determine a page’s ranking in the search results. It is not only the factor that Google uses to rank pages, but also an important one.
What Google pagerank indicates?
Google Pagerank system determines the ranking between zero to ten where zero is lowest and 10 is highest.
Pagerank 0-2: Pagerank containing 0-2 Google pagerank considered as new websites just starting and entered in internet world. Initially Google gives pagerank zero for all those websites which is cached by Google.
Pagerank 3-6: Established websites which has proven its performance and already have some good backlinks goes into this category. Most websites that are about 10-12 months old and with backlinks can get Google pagerank 3-6.
Pagerank 7-10: These categories of the websites are considered as the industry leader of that niche. It takes good amount of time and some established technique to get Google pagerank 7-10
