Start button(Menu):-
It is the gate way of computer because from the start button we can access (open) all program having in your computer.
The parts of start button:-
a. shut down (turn off/switch off).
b. Log off.
c. Run.
d. Help and support.
e. Search.
f. Setting.
g. Documents.
h. Programs etc.
Shut down:-
Using this command we can close the computer.
Logg off:-
Using this command we can close the opened user account but the computer is not closed.
Run:-
Using this we can do the system’s functions like open the program and accessing network resources.

Write the above commands in run and click on ok or press enter then the program is opened.
Help and support:-
Using this command we can get the help (information) about the windows operating system and its related topics.
Process:-
a. click on help and support (press F1).
b. Type the word in search box and press enter.
c. Or Click on others options.
Search:-
Using this command we can search the file and folders having in the system faster and quickly.
Setting:-
Using this commands we can set the system’s task i.e. install new program in the computer, setting hardware and software connection so on.
Documents:-
This command displays the 16 recently opened program in your system. From where also we can open these made file but there should be original in any location.
Clearing opened documents:-
a. right click on the start menu.
b. Click on properties.
c. Click on customize.
d. Click on clear.
Program:-
Using this command we can open any installed(Having) program in your system. The program are placed in the folder differently from where we can open them.
Process:-
a. click on program command.
b. Click on related folder.
c. Click on required program .
Taskbar:-
It is on the bottom of the desktop.It displays the opened program information and others shortcut icons for quickly open the program.
Taskbar properties:-
a. right click on the taskbar,then you will get the taskbar.
b. Now you can use the different kinds of task bar properties :-
Lock the task bar:-
If you check on it then the task bar is locked so that you can not make bigger and move the task bar.
Note:-
Check on the task bar and click on apply only that property can work.
Auto hide the task bar:-
This property hides the taskbar automatically but when we move the mouse near it ,it will automatically appears.
Keep the task bar on the top of others windows:-
If we check on it, the taskbar is always displayed on the top of opened program.
Group similar taskbar button:-
This option displays the opened similar kinds of program in one group. so that you can open them easily clicking from the group.
Show quick lunch:-
If we check on it some icon like internet explorer, desktop are displayed on the task bar so that we can easily open them.
