Microsoft power point
The PowerPoint is used for mass communication.
Its one component is called Slide and saved file is called presentation.
Opening process:-
a. Type powerpnt in run.
b. click on ok.
or
i. Go to program.
ii. Open Microsoft office.
iii. Click on Microsoft PowerPoint 2003.
The environment of powerpoint
After open the PowerPoint we can view the following environment.
Slide:-
Slide is the single component of the presentation where we write down the text, insert picture, music, video etc.Each slide’s combination makes the presentation.
WE write down the Title of the topic in the “Click to add title” and Description in the “click to add sub title”.
Inserting new slide:-
a. Click on insert menu.
b. Click on new slide. (ctrl+m).
Or
Right click on the slide’s normal view’s slide>Click on new slide [in the left of slide].
Deleting slide:-
a. Right click on slide’s view normal slide.
b. Click on delete.
Slide Design:-
When you right click on slide, you can view slide Design from where you can add “design template” and different animation.
Setting background and picture:-
a. Right Click on the slide.
b. Click on background.
c. Choose the background color or Fill effects to fill gradient color and pictures.
Setting animation to the slides:-
You can set the two kinds of animations In the slides:-
a. Animation Schemes.
b. Custom animations.
You can get these methods from the “Slide show ” menu.
a. Animation Schemes:-
There are many animation’s types which can be chosen for the animations.
Choose no animation to remove animations.
B. Custom Animations:-
You can set the different animations customizing your self from this methods. It has the many styles and we can set the timing also.
Using custom animation:-
a. Click custom animation from the slide show menu.
b. Click on add effects button.
c. Choose any one option from Entrance, emphasis, exit and motion paths.
To remove the custom animation:-
Click on Remove button.
Viewing methods:-
You can view the slides in the following two views:-
A. in design views:
a. open slide design palate.
b. Click on play.
B. in full screen view:
a. Click on slide show menu.
b. Click on view show.(F5).
Creating slides process:-
While creating slides you should follow up these points:-
a. Define the subject.
b. Create the out line of the presentation in copy.
c. Insert slide.
d. Format the text, set the color or design templates.
e. use the animation,arrange the timing.
f. if required, use the sounds or videos.
properties of custome animation:-
We can set the properties of custom animations in the animations effects.
To get these do as followings:-
a. open custom animation effects, now set in these properties:-
start:-
on click-to start slide on click
With previous-to start slide with the previous animation.
After previous-To start animation after previous.
Direction:-
We can arrange the direction of the animation.
like from left, from right, from corner etc.
speed:-
To run the flash slow or faster we can use the speed option.
others properties:-
You can use others properties from the animation’s box.
a. Click on animation name.
b. choose Timing, effect option etc.
Slide Transition:-
Using slide transition we can give the animation as well as set the automatic.
Getting slide transiton:-
a. open slide show menu.
b. Click on slide transition.
c. choose animation.
d. To make automatic click on AUTOMATICALLY after button and set the time.
inserting sound in presentation:-
a. Click on insert menu.
b. Click on movie and sound.
c. choose the sound file .
d. click on open.
Saving file or creating presentation:-
we can save file two ways:-
A. to open in design view:-
press ctrl+s > file name.
B. To open automaically with out powerpoint:-
a. ctrl+s.
B. write the name of file as below:-
“Filename.pps”
e.g.
“student.pps”
