MS Paint

Paint is a drawing program that is used to create simple drawings.

You can also use Paint to work with pictures also.

How to start ms paint?

Steps:-

1. click on start button

2. select program

3. select accessories

4. select paint

Or

Type “mspaint or pbrush” in run and click on ok.

The paint overview:-

The opened mspaint program’s rectangle shape is called window. It has the following parts:-

Control box:-

The topmost part with icon,title,minimize,maximized(Restored button) and closed button is called control box.

Menu bar:-

There are File,edit,view,image,colors,help menu bar.Using them we can do the many work related with mspaint.

Tool box:-

Using this tool we can use the many drawing tools like pen,pencil,like,text,rectangle,eraser etc.

How to show or hide tool box

Go to view menu

Click on tool bar

Tools and use:-

Free from select:-

It is used to select our picture in rectangle shape and transfer to another place.

Select:-

It selects the area freely like pencil drawing.

Eraser:-

We use this tools to erase our mistake on drawing picture. We have 4 different sizes of eraser on paint.

fill with color:-

This tools is used to fill the required color in the closed picture or area.

pick color:-

By using this tools the mouse pointer can immediate change the drawing color according to previous color of your document.

Magnifier:-

It is able to zoom to current screen graphics. When you click on it some sizes are active below your tool box using them you can magnify differently.

Pencil:-

It used to drawing the picture as per your choice. You can also choose the color from color palate.

Brush:-

It allows applying color as if using a paint brush.

Airbrush:-

It Allows you to apply color, using an air brush effect.

Text:-

With the help of this tool you can write the text also on your canvas when you want.

When you click on text tool then the font palate is opened as below. Using which you can change your fonts’ size, name, make text bold, italic, underline etc.

Setting background of Text area:-

To set the background of text area you can use this picture:-

line :- It allows you to draw straight line.

Curve:-:It allows to draw curve line.

Rectangle:- It allows you to draw the rectangles.

Polygon:- It allows drawing the polygon shape.

Ellipse: - It allows to you to draw ellipses.

Rounded rectangle:-

It allows you to draw rectangles with rounded edges.

How to resize the picture of paint?

· Select the required area

· Then go to image menu

· Then choose flip/ rotate option

· Then select any option which is your requirement and ok it.

Process to save the picture:-

Saving picture means keeping the data (picture, text etc) in the proper location (Desktop, my document, and my computer) with proper file name.

To save the picture follows up:-

I. go to file menu

II. Click on save.

III. Click on Desktop or my document.

IV. Write down the filename in “File name box”.

V. Click on save.

Process to set as background desktop your picture:-

• go to file menu
• Click on set as background (Tiled) / (centered)

Set the paint picture as background

1. first save the image
2. go to file menu
3. choose set a background(tied) or (centered)
4. minimize the screen and see
