Flash is the animation creating program for the web .It is the production of Macromedia corporation.There are different version of flash like flash 5 ,flash mx.
Starting flash:-
a. Go to start menu.
b. Programe.

Document:-
It is the drawing area where there is canvas used for drawing shapes for the animations.It can be resized and formated.
Customizing size of document:-
To customizing the size of the document in different sizes for drawaing :-
a.Press “ctrl” and “-”or “+”.

a. Right click on canvas.
b. Click on property.
c. Click on size button.
d. Set the height and width as well as background.
(This size is the real size of the document)
Select the different preset size of the frames from the combo box.
TimeLine:-
It is used to create the animation where there are following parts and terms used while creating animation.
Properties on right click on timeline:-
Frame:-
Every columns of the timeline is frame.Objects are inserted in the frame.It is in the rectanguler shape.
Key frame :-
It stores the objects on the frame.For the animation key frame is used to store the objects.
Blank key frame:-
We use blank keyframe for not display the objects while animation or to store the object later.
Convert to key or blank key frame:-
These options convert the frame into keyframe.
cut/clear/copy/paste/remove frame:-
They are used for copying,paste,remove the frames.
Layer:-
Using this we can insert the different layer where the different kinds of objects in the layer can be inserted.And can be worked individual.
Guide Layer:-
The guide layer creates the path for animation where the normal objects animate.
Property box:-
It is used to set the property of the objects while animation.
Setting color in flash:
To work with the color we use the following color boxes:-
a. Stroke.
b. Fill.
c. Color swatches.
d. Color mixer.

Using this we can create the different colors mixing.Generally we create the two colors:-Normal and Gradient.
Gradient color has the style also we can insert the bitmap image too from the gradient style.
Steps to insert the bitmap:-
a. choose the bitmap from the gradient style.

c. you will see the picture in the objects like circle,squre etc objects.
Inserting bitmap image in full object:-
a. select the object.
b. fill it with radial,linear etc color.
c. choose the bitmap.
Color swatches:-
Using this we can create the different kinds of normal and gradient color to use in the objects.
Stroke and fill color:-
Using them we can set two kinds of colors like fill and stroke.
Fill color is used to fill the color in the objects inside and text and stroke for border of the objects

We can set the text style,color,size,alignment,character spacing,character position etc using text property box.
Types of text:-
WE can write two type of text:-
A. Artistic:-
write on click to write artistic text.
B. Paragraph:-
cover the area to write down the paragraph text.
To work on the paragraph text ,to arrange the alignment,indentation click on format button.
Oval tool(O):-
Using this we can create the oval(circle) object.
It has the two parts:-
a. stroke(border):-
we can customize the border’s color and border style using property box as well as inkbottle tool also.
b. fill(inner part):-
we can fill the color in the fill area using property box and paint bucket tool or different color box.
c.Rectangle tool(R):-
using this tool we can create the rectangle object.It also has the fill and stroke these can be customized using color boxes and inkbottleor paint bucket tool and property box.
Rounded Rectangle corners:-
We can create the rounded rectangle corners using this tool.

a. Click on this tool(in the bottom of the tool palate).
b. give the corner radius value.
c. click on ok.
Pencil tool:-
Using this tool we can create the drawing.
To customize the color,size,style we use the property box and color box.It contains the stroke color.
Pencil mode:-
We can draw with the pencil on the different mode.They are:-

Brush tool(B):-
Using this tool we can draw the picture differently.we draw the image with fill color by picture and customize it using property box.
Brush size and shapes:-
There are different bursh size and shapes with them we can draw differently.
Brush size:-It defines the size of the brush.
Brush shape:-It defines the shapes of the brush.
Brush mode:-
There are following brush mode on these mode brush tool draw differently.
a. paint normal.
b. paint behind.
c. paint selection.
d. paint inside.
Free Transform(Q):-
using this tool we can resize the object freely i.e. we can make big or small or rotate using this tool.
Fill transform tool(f):-
We can customize the gradient color by this tool.For this do as following:-

Eye dropper tool(I):-
Using this tool we can create the new color from others shapes or picture for fill in any object of that objects’ color.

III. now fill the object with color using paint bucket tool.
Eraser tool(E):-
Using eraser tool we can erase the object differently according to the modes.
